InPrice Central Merchandising provides "one version of the truth", by having a central store of data that can be accessed securely and quickly by all components of InControl.
InPrice Central Merchandising drives the InControl Evolution suite and has transformed businesses through:
Whether your employees are working on the tills, in the back office or out on the shop floor with the InHand mobile unit, they will all be working from the same source of data, ensuring that everyone sees the same "one version of the truth".
On a business level, this central view of the data means that all departments within your business from marketing, buying, or sales are working from the same information harmonising business operations. Data is updated in real time so from central office changes, to transaction details, as information changes, all stores and operators will see and be able to operate from the updates within moments.
On a store level, information is accessed directly through a web browser removing the need for back office servers in store reducing hardware and maintenance costs for your business. It is based on an open hardware platform enabling you to "shop the market" for preferred hardware brands, or use existing assets where applicable.
InControl has been designed on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) meaning that most functionality of the system is accessible across the different hardware models from back office computers, till terminals and InHand mobile units. This gives your employees greater variety in completing store processes.
The centralised data model of InControl provides a robust service for your business, providing simple, secure access to data as and when you need it. In addition to having direct access to data, tills and terminals are fully equipped with an offline mode, enabling them to operate independently and prevent disruptions to store operations should the tills need to be offline from the central source.
